Parikshit gets up close and personal with Shahid and Kangana
Recently I got a chance to fly down to India and interview the star cast of Rangoon – Kangana Ranaut and Shahid Kapoor. The movie has already created a lot of buzz and I was personally really excited to meet both of them and also because it’s a Vishal Bharadwaj movie. I couldn’t wait! This is the Bollywood Diary of my journey to Delhi.
I landed early morning and got picked up by this gentleman. We instantly connected and spoke about Delhi’s increasing problems. Also, I found out that his 3 daughters loved collecting foreign currencies. Fortunately I had some notes that I handed over to him. I arrived to my beautiful hotel in few minutes.
There is something about old Indian 5 star hotels, the smell of these hotels and architecture is just mesmerising. I admired this hotel as I walked up to my room to catch up on sleep. I had 5 hours before the big interview. Apart from the interview I was excited about the breakfast buffet. *Facepalm*
It was about time and the interview was in another hotel close by. Unlike many other actors Shahid was on time for his one on one interviews. I knew he was big on Social Media specially on Instagram, so I decided to do a pop culture quiz with him. Not only he was very witty during the interview but also he was very up to date with his pop culture vocabulary. I had a great time with him.

He gave me a warm bro hug and left as he had to catch a flight back.
It was now time to interview the Queen – Kangana Ranaut. I was about to interview her for the first time and I wanted to get into her mind space. I wanted to know what’s going on in her mind after all the stardom and her strong values. I found out that not only Kangana is beautiful outside but also from the inside. She was very honest with me and all her other interviews. I love her for her blatancy. I decided to do a personal quiz with Kangana. Watch the video to find out.
