Healthy Eating Month 4

It gives me such pleasure to say that I have been eating healthy for last 4 months, ever since 2017 started.

I started with a no sugar diet, which meant bidding goodbye to cookies/cakes/icecreams, even chai and coffee!!

Then I started including more protein in my diet as I started working out. Cut down on my rice and poori and paratha!!

Been having a healthy breakfast of either Daliya/Oats or Quinoa for last two weeks and enjoying every bit of it 🙂

Never Bunk!! :)

I am glad I have reached a point where if I find the gym closed in the morning, I don’t feel happy. Instead feel the need to do some sort of exercise.

This morning I saw this when I went to they gym-

I decided to not bunk and go outdoors for a quick run and basic work out!! I am happy I did it.

My Unhealthy Holiday

Our health stories are real. We all slip up. Many times. The trick is to come back stronger and focus sooner. I was in the US for two weeks and I downed a lot of unhealthy food but I burnt all calories by walking practically everyday for at least 8 hours on an average. That’s how you keep it balanced. And now that I am back, I have hit the gym again and started eating healthy!! What’s the healthiest thing you did today? Tell tell.


Healthy Dinner :D

This is pretty much my healthy dinner everyday. Has been for at least one and a half months. Just boiled vegetables with some Tofu or Feta Cheese. You will repel for the first few days, crave for your regular elaborate dinners for a few weeks. But soon enough you will get used to this healthy meal and start enjoying it too!!

No Sugar Year!!

I haven’t spoken about it yet because I was not sure if I will be able to do this or not. I am still not sure if I will be able to sustain it for a year. I have been pretty successful for last one and a half months at least. Yes I am doing a No Sugar Year in 2017- which means I will avoid sugar, which means no cakes/cookies/chai or coffee for me. I take sugar only in its natural form; fruits and veggies.

In last one and a half months I cheated only on two days when we were in Italy where I had three spoons of Tiramisu and half a Gulab Jamun!! I have behaved rather well on all other days.

Results- Honestly I am not much bothered about the results but I had to visit the doctor on the weekend and he checked my weight and I was happy to see that I had lost 4 kgs in last one and a half month!!
