You’ve seen the looks from the 62nd Filmfare Awards Red Carpet right? Here is a list of some of my favourites!
I’m sure you noticed this one trend that was a big hit with a lot of the gorgeous ladies from Bollywood – Bold gowns! Having said that though, Deepika Padukone has been a fan of the side slit gowns all of 2016, she wore it at the IIFA press conference, her international red carpet appearances and now clearly that same bug has bitten these stunners!
Shilpa Shetty dazzled in her Manish Malhotra high-slit golder number, Kalki (who we usually don’t consider glamourous, looked oh so foxy!) she wore the always exciting Nikhil Thampi andKriti Sanon joined the high-slit club with her Shehla Khan outfit, although I wish she had gone for a bolder colour and texture especially since metallics are going to be all over 2017!
As always Sonam Kapoor went with something that stood apart! She went international and picked this Elie Saab translucent white gown. There’s literally so much happening on her outfit, I really like the fact that she went minimalistic with her accessories, hair and makeup.
Jacqueline Fernandez opted for elegant! She went with this sheer silver-grey one shoulder gown by Ali Younes couture – with classic straight hair she looked like a million bucks!
Since it is the red carpet, it wouldn’t be complete without the ever-favourite princess cuts! Alia Bhatt who walked away with the Best Actor (female) award for her performance in Udta Punjab, did so in this pink gown by Prabal Gurung. Not my favorite look of hers, she tends to favour the safer/tried and tested looks but hey I ADORE her so all is forgiven!!
Parineeti is looked STUNNING this this fuchsia pink gown by Mark Bumgarner; again a safe cut and style but the bow accent added some drama!
