Daliya Recipe

Everyone tries to eat healthy in the first few weeks of the New Year. I have been eating healthy as well. Here’s a quick recipe of Dalia. Hope you like it!!


  1. Soak green moong daal for an hour. (1/4 of a cup!)
  2. Roast some peanuts in a teaspoon of oil. (8-10)
  3. Roast cumin seeds in oil. Add green chillies and other veggies of your choice (peas, paneer, beans!) Add roasted peanuts.
  4. Add daliya and soaked daal. (Daliya- one bowl)
  5. Add half a cup of water.
  6. Pressure cook it for two whistles.
